EV-Specific FAQ
Will ceramic coating affect my sensors or cameras?
No. We mask all sensor housings, cameras and LiDAR units before polishing and coating. The ceramic is applied to painted panels only, never on sensor surfaces.
Is the process safe for Tesla Autopilot / FSD cameras?
Yes. We follow Tesla-specific masking protocols. The pillar cameras, bumper cameras and ultrasonic sensors are fully protected throughout the process.
How does ceramic coating work with touchless car washes?
Perfectly. Ceramic coating creates a hydrophobic surface that sheds dirt more easily, making touchless washes highly effective. This is the ideal maintenance method for coated EVs.
My Tesla has swirl marks after 6 months. Is that normal?
Unfortunately yes. Tesla's water-based paint is softer than traditional automotive paint. Professional correction removes existing swirls, and ceramic coating significantly reduces future accumulation.
Do you need to charge the vehicle during service?
We ask that the vehicle arrives with at least 20% charge so we can reposition it as needed. We don't require charging access at the service location.
