Paint correction removes defects from the existing clear coat (swirl marks, scratches, oxidation) without adding new paint. It costs significantly less than repainting (from €149 vs €800-2,000+), takes hours instead of days, and preserves the original factory paint. Yes — professional glass polishing removes most wiper scratches, water spots and haziness. It saves €300-500 compared to a new windshield. Paint correction takes 2-10 hours depending on the package and vehicle size. Glass polishing takes 1-2 hours. The correction itself is permanent — those defects do not come back on their own. Not when done by a professional. Each deep correction pass removes an average of 5.5 microns of clear coat. Factory clear coat is typically 40-60 microns thick, allowing 10+ deep corrections over the car's lifetime.
